Experienced producers Evangelo Kioussis and Simon Baxter founded Richmond in 2019.
Having faced the many challenges when raising finance, with the backing of their investors, they decided to face those challenges head on and form a producer friendly financing company.

EVANGELO KIOUSSIS
Born in Canada, Evangelo relocated to London and formed MIRROR PRODUCTIONS with Simon Baxter. Evangelo produced CRASH BURN LOVE (2016), the debut film from acclaimed commercials Director Rob Sanders, followed by Chanya Button’s VITA & VIRGINIA (2019), inspired by Dame Eileen Atkins’ acclaimed stage play chronicling the love affair between Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville West, starring Gemma Arterton, Elizabeth Debicki and Isabella Rossellini. Evangelo was the UK Producer on German/UK/Polish
co-production ADVENTURES OF A MATHEMATICIAN (2021), Thor Klein’s film about Stan Ulam, the legendary Polish mathematician who helped Oppenheimer create the H-Bomb. Evangelo is currently preparing World TRESPASSERS with Director Vanessa Filho (ANGEL FACE starring Marion Cottilard ) for a late 2022 shoot, which tells the story of celebrated surrealist Lucy Schwob, who conducted the longest undetected campaign of resistance against the Nazis in Occupied Jersey. Evangelo’s unique position as a successful Producer in the Independent Film market gives him the vantage point required to select and oversee the best projects for Richmond Pictures, and to be a strategic ally to Producers seeking funding for their projects.

SIMON BAXTER
Simon is a top Executive in the film and entertainment industry. His years of experience include roles as International Sales and Marketing Director for Technicolor, The Completion Bond Company and Fujifilm. Recently, Simon has been Executive Producer on CRASH BURN LOVE,
VITA & VIRGINIA, ADVENTURES OF A MATHEMATICIAN, and is an EP on each of Mirror Production’s upcoming projects. Simon combines his decades-long experience in financing film and TV projects with extensive industry relationships to ensure smooth operation between Richmond Pictures and its clients.
Chief Investment Officer
CRISPIN COMONTE
Crispin in a qualified lawyer who moved into investment banking and has then spent the last 20 years working in media corporate finance for BBC Worldwide, as Investment Director for Vulcan Inc, investing in TV channels, TV productions, film studios & private members clubs and as Managing Partner of Ironbridge Capital Partners. Over the last decade at FCA regulated Ironbridge, Crispin and the team have led growth capital investments (as both advisers and primary investors) in dozens of media and technology companies including most recently in film finance opportunities. This has led Crispin to join the team as Chief Investment Officer to help Richmond take advantage of the huge financing opportunities in UK Film and TV production.
